Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Paige (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Dammon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paige's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drowning Pool - Step Up. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 14 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Dammon!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dammon scores with a decent looking hook.
Paige buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Paige throws a low kick but Dammon moves out of range easily.

Dammon bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Paige! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paige seems keen to control Dammon's posture.

Dammon stands up and waves to Paige to follow him.
Dammon staying out of range there.
Dammon swats away the attempt to clinch by Paige.
Dammon misses with a hook
and Paige connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Paige darts in and clinches Dammon up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Dammon.
Dammon lands with a light punch inside.

Dammon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Paige keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Paige bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Dammon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Paige scores with a jab.
Paige throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dammon lands a nice hook to Paige's body. Paige takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dammon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Paige.
Paige lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dammon's sensitive parts.
Dammon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dammon moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Paige goes down! Can Dammon finish him!?

Dammon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dammon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Paige drops his hands momentarily. Dammon doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Paige staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Paige doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt Dammon!
