Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roland Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deschain's entrance music is Giving In-- As made famous by Adema. A fine choice. Sergey Kharitonov acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergey Kharitonov!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deschain throws a series of strikes that have Kharitonov backpedaling.

It looks like Sergey Kharitonov has been cut.
Kharitonov tries for a takedown but Deschain circles away easily
and Deschain counters with a three punch combo that has Kharitonov backing up. Kharitonov nods at Deschain to acknowledge the strikes.

Deschain throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kharitonov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Deschain is in Kharitonov's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Deschain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Deschain not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Deschain has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Deschain trying to control but Kharitonov is working from the bottom.
Deschain is pushing down on Kharitonov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kharitonov is fighting to maintain full guard but Deschain has managed to sneak the leg through.

Deschain moves nicely into side control.
Deschain advances to full mount.
Deschain postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kharitonov looks a forlorn figure.

Kharitonov is rocked!
Kharitonov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deschain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kharitonov looks gassed!
Deschain is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Kharitonov goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Deschain!
