Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Korobkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Korobkov has chosen Hush - Fired Up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena looks to land a combination. Korobkov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Korobkov looks for a takedown but Pena sprawls well.

Korobkov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pena to the mat! Pena manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Korobkov won't allow Pena to get back to his feet.

Korobkov looking to sit in guard and control but Pena gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Pena wants to stand but Korobkov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Pena stands up and waves to Korobkov to follow him.

and Korobkov counters with a shoot takedown. Pena fights it but they end up in guard.

Korobkov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pena looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pena looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pena!

Korobkov is trying to get back to half guard.
Pena wants to stand but Korobkov has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Korobkov tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Korobkov has a closed guard, preventing Pena from standing up.

Pena avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Korobkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pena doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pena manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Korobkov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pena can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Pena misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Korobkov.

and Pena connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Korobkov closes the distance and clinches up with Pena, looking for a takedown. Korobkov pushes Pena against the cage but Pena circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pena takes a swing at Korobkov's ribcage but misses.
A lazy left from Pena finds it's target.
Nice straight punches there by Pena. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Pena.
Korobkov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Korobkov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pena lands a big right hand that sends Korobkov crashing to the mat! Pena stays standing though and waves Korobkov back to his feet!
Korobkov is still on wobbly legs! Can Pena finish him?
Pena scores with a shot to the body.
OH! Korobkov has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Pena smells blood and charges in for the finish! Pena unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Korobkov sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Javier Pena tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
