And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pertti Peto!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peto walks into a left hand.
Peto dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marx. That did some damage!
Pertti Peto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping body kick lands there for Marx.
Peto looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Marx lands with a hook. Peto tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Peto takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Peto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marx was well out of range. Poor timing from Peto.
Peto misses with a hook.
Peto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marx moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That kick from Peto tenderised Marx's leg. Marx is trying to keep his angry face on.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Peto throws a lazy uppercut
and Marx counters with a nice leg kick.
Marx takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Peto tries to land a front kick but Marx steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Marx connects with a solid leg kick.
Marx throws a wild body kick that Peto sees coming a mile off.
Peto connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marx. Marx circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marx on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Peto. Peto obviously looking to wear him down.
Peto turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Peto throws a nice outside leg kick.
Marx is breathing heavily.
Peto misses with a two punch combination.
Marx tries for a takedown but Peto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Marx throws a good cross that connects.
Nice takedown defense from Peto. No joy for Marx on that attempt.
Peto connects with a solid leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peto throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marx stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Whack! Peto lands a heavy head kick that drops Marx. The ref tackles Peto to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Marx was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Pertti Peto!
