Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tanla Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Greens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greens has chosen Whiplash - Metallica as his entrance music. Tanla Singh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greens throws a head kick that misses.
Greens takes a head kick and keeps coming.
An inside leg kick from Singh misses.
Greens shoots for a double leg takedown but Singh sprawls well. He's pushed Greens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Greens rushes Singh and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Greens tries for a takedown. No joy.
Greens throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Greens is looking to break free of the clinch but Singh has double underhooks.
Greens has Singh pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Singh manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Tanla Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Greens.

Singh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Greens feints and then cracks Singh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Singh down.
Greens tries to land a front kick but Singh steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Greens bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Singh's head.
Greens jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Greens pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Greens drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Singh on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Greens tries to score a power double leg takedown but Singh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Greens somewhat.

and Singh counters with a good low kick that Greens was not able to check.

Bobby Greens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Greens throws a wild body kick that Singh sees coming a mile off.

and Singh counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Greens is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Greens takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Singh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Greens lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Greens misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Greens throws a sloppy head kick and Singh moves out of range easily.

Greens pushes Singh away with a front kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Greens buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Singh is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Singh counters with a nice low kick that buckles Greens's knee momentarily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Greens crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Singh - the referee stops the clock and Greens gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Singh. Greens manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Singh swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Greens.
Greens throws a sloppy head kick
and Singh counters with a head kick. That will keep Greens thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Singh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Greens moves into the clinch.
Greens wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Singh's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Greens ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Greens no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Singh trying to control the position from guard on top but Greens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Greens trying to keep a closed guard but Singh is proving a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Singh throws a chopping leg kick but Greens manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Greens, right into the meat.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tanla Singh.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Singh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Tanla Singh decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
