Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Hughs!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okinawa has closed the distance and engaged Hughs in a clinch.
Okinawa is trying to pull guard but Hughs has him pressed against the cage.
Hughs with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Fujitsu Okinawa has been cut.
Hughs gets underhooks to prevent Okinawa's takedown attempt.
Still in the clinch, Hughs scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hughs works on Okinawa's body with a couple of short punches.
Hughs landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hughs unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Okinawa pushes off an throws an elbow but Hughs leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Hughs drops Okinawa with a big knee straight up the middle! Okinawa is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Okinawa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hughs. That one must have hurt.
Hughs pushes Okinawa up against the cage in a clinch.
Hughs lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Hughs crunches a lovely knee into Okinawa's ribcage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hughs lands a good knee to the midsection. Okinawa won't want to take too many of those.
Hughs with the Thai clinch, moves his hips back and unleashes a brutal knee to the head! Okinawa drops to the mat in a crumpled heap! Huuuuuuge knee there! WOW!
