Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nintendo Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Action Crackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takada comes to the cage accompanied by Super Mario Bros Theme Soundtrack . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nintendo Takada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Action Crackson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crackson tries for a takedown but Takada sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Takada lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Some wild striking there from Crackson.
Takada looks to score with a jab to the body but Crackson is just out of range.
Crackson lands an overhand right.
Takada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crackson's waist but Crackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takada off to one side.
Crackson walks into a stiff left hand from Takada.
Takada fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Crackson.
Takada scores with a head kick. Crackson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Takada misses with a body kick.
Takada lands a jab.
Takada looks for the body kick but Crackson saw that one coming.
Takada closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Crackson counter with a right hand.

Crackson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Crackson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Takada fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crackson manages to avoid it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Takada.
Takada will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Takada walks into a stiff left hand from Crackson.
Takada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Takada throws a wild body kick that Crackson sees coming a mile off.
Takada lands a head shot.
Takada throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Takada connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Takada shoots for a double leg takedown but Crackson sprawls well. He's pushed Takada's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nintendo Takada. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Takada misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crackson.
Takada throws a head kick that half lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A looping hook to the body misses from Takada. Crackson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Takada takes a swing at Crackson's ribcage but misses.
Crackson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Takada buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nintendo Takada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crackson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Takada throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Takada tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Takada bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Takada laying and praying for a moment but Crackson takes advantage and regains half guard.
Crackson has a hand on Takada's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Takada takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Takada lands a nice shot to the head.

Takada jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Crackson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Crackson and Takada has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
You can see the frustration on Crackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Takada scores with a couple of short elbows.
Takada in side control, throwing shots but Crackson defends.
Check out the look on Takada's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Crackson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Takada creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Crackson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Takada in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Takada's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Crackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Takada throws a push kick but Crackson slaps the foot to one side.
Takada scoring well with a low kick there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Takada.
Takada lands a lovely overhand right.
Nintendo Takada is winning the standup battle so far.
Nice defenses there by Takada.
Crackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Takada.
Crackson throws a head kick but Takada moves out of range.

Takada is looking to wear down Crackson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

and Takada counters with a nice low kick that buckles Crackson's knee momentarily.
Takada throws a body punch but Crackson moves out of range.

Takada lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Takada delivers a nice body kick.
Crackson is breathing heavily.
Takada scores with a hook to the body. Crackson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Takada looks to score with a jab to the body but Crackson is just out of range.

Crackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Takada.
Crackson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Takada connects with an inside leg kick.
Crackson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takada tries a low kick but Crackson avoids it.
Crackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Takada paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Takada punishes Crackson's body with a nice straight punch.
Takada is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Takada moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Crackson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Takada wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Takada throws a head kick but Crackson moves out of range.
Crackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Takada scores with a shot to the body.
Crackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takada as he avoids it easily.
Nintendo Takada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Action Crackson.

Crackson misses with a takedown attempt - Takada sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Crackson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Crackson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Crackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Takada is just out of range.

Takada is looking to score with low kicks.
Crackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Crackson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Crackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Takada sprawls well. Takada wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Crackson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Takada is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Crackson.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Takada throws a head kick that misses
and Crackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Takada connects with a solid leg kick.
Crackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nintendo Takada dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Takada jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Takada throws a body punch but Crackson moves out of range.
Crackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Takada will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Takada attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Takada closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Crackson to the mat! Crackson manages to get full guard.

Takada has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Takada throws a big right hand that misses.
Takada trying to control but Crackson is working from the bottom.
Crackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Takada manages to get himself to full guard.
Takada bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crackson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takada missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Takada throws an elbow that misses. Crackson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Takada's guard. Nice move by Crackson!
Crackson wants to control from the top but Takada keeps moving.
Takada throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Takada looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Takada tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Takada is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Takada seems to be working for a kimura but Crackson defends the submission attempt.
Crackson wants to control but Takada is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Takada wants to pass the guard but Crackson is defending well.
Crackson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Takada cracks Crackson with a solid left hand.

Crackson is adopting a defensive guard.
Crackson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Takada decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Takada shoots in but no luck this time.
Nintendo Takada is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Takada misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nintendo Takada. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crackson scores with a shot to the body.
Takada scores with a nice strike.
Takada thuds his shin into the meat of Crackson's side.
Takada fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Takada looks for the body kick but Crackson saw that one coming.
Crackson misses with a body shot.
Takada takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Crackson has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Takada.
Crackson shoots in but Takada avoids the takedown attempt easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Takada - the referee stops the clock and Crackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Takada. Crackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Action Crackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Takada feints and as Crackson raises his hands in defense, Takada changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nintendo Takada showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Takada has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
