The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Evans. Hunt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hunt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hunt goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A punch combination from Evans misses.
Evans swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hunt counters with a thumping low kick.

Hunt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hunt shoots in but no luck this time.
Hunt shoots for a double leg takedown but Evans sprawls well. He's pushed Hunt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Evans rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hunt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hunt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Evans lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Hunt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hunt takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hunt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Evans swivels and escapes.
Evans throws a series of strikes that have Hunt backpedaling.
Hunt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hunt is breathing heavily.
A jab lands there for Evans.

Evans lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Evans tries to clinch there but Hunt circles away.
Hunt keeps the fight on the outside.
Evans fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hunt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Evans tries to bum rush Hunt with a series of wild strikes but Hunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Evans throws a series of strikes that have Hunt backpedaling.

Evans moves into the clinch.
Evans lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hunt backwards.
Hunt keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Evans's efforts to push away.
A left hand lands to the body for Evans.
Hunt wants to stall.
Evans scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Evans works on Hunt's body with a couple of short punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Evans's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oh Hunt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Evans moves into the clinch.
Evans unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Hunt! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Evans is unloading with more strikes now! Hunt drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
