Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vato Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trond Groven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trond Groven told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trond Groven!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loco fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Loco throws a low kick but Groven moves out of range easily.
Loco throws a shot from downtown. Groven moves away and avoids it.
Groven on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Loco. Loco obviously looking to wear him down.
Groven fails with an attempt to clinch.
Loco scores with a jab to the jaw.

It looks like Trond Groven has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Loco fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Groven drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Loco sends Groven crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Loco is motioning to the referee to let Groven up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Groven is rocked!
Groven looks gassed!
Groven walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Loco swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vato Loco!
Vato Loco tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
