Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrell Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DOBERMAN. Darrell Miles is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darrell Miles!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miles is defended easily by Gordon.
Miles walks into a straight right hand from Gordon.
Gordon scores with a nice strike.
Miles's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gordon connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Miles scrambles back to his feet.
Miles takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gordon swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Miles.
Miles is rocked!
BOOM! Gordon lands a beautiful left hook that drops Miles. Miles tries to recover but Gordon is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Miles lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derrick Gordon!
