Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Jersey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruben Lagus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lagus has chosen Llevas Polka as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ruben Lagus!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lagus lands with a nice body punch.
Lagus keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lagus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jersey.
Jersey swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jersey lands a jab to the nose.
Jersey throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Jersey throws a hook to the side of Lagus's head but Lagus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jersey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Jersey will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
