Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Armo Kuusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanden Plas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuusela comes to the ring accompanied by Promentory. Vanden Plas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plas throws a body kick, spinning off balance
enabling Kuusela to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Vanden Plas has been cut.
Plas avoids the body shot from Kuusela.
Kuusela tries a head kick but it misses.
Plas wants to slow Kuusela down by chopping away at his legs.
Kuusela misses with a low kick.
Kuusela punishes Plas's body with a nice straight punch.
A combination from Kuusela does no damage.

and Plas counters with a low kick, right behind Kuusela 's knee.
Kuusela lands a really nice looking cross but Plas seems unphased.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kuusela goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Good leg kick by Kuusela there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kuusela is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Plas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kuusela. That did some damage!

Kuusela is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A bone on bone clash there as Kuusela blocks the leg kick.
Plas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Plas connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kuusela takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Plas feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kuusela's calf.

Plas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kuusela throws a front kick to the face that drops Plas face first to the mat! Oh, he's in big trouble! He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!
