Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kari Peippo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peippo comes to the cage accompanied by Public Enemy - Terminator X to the Edge of Panic . On his way into the cage it seems that Kari Peippo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kari Peippo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chen on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Peippo wants to break free but Chen has control.
Chen manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Chen stalks Peippo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Peippo's face. Peippo staggers backwards, shaken.

Peippo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Peippo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Peippo.

Peippo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chen is looking to escape.

Peippo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Chen is now in Peippo's guard. A big mistake from Peippo there, giving up the dominant position!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Peippo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chen defends well.

Peippo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Chen doesn't defend quickly enough and Peippo has managed to lock this one up! Can Chen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Peippo on a fantastic submission victory.
