The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lom throws a nice inside leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lom.
Jackson swats away the attempt to clinch by Lom.
Lom tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lom throws a leg kick but Jackson sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lom displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackson throws out the jab.
Lom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lom wants it to stay on the feet.
Lom rushes Jackson and presses him up against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Lom - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jackson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lom smiles and moves away.
Jackson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kosti Lom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Jackson.
Jackson tries to land a front kick but Lom steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Lom has managed to clinch.

It looks like Shawn Jackson has been cut.
Jackson jumps guard but Lom turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Lom creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jackson's defenses.

Lom's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Lom is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jackson is defending well for now.
