The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conroy fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Conroy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A good leg kick by Conroy.
Conroy drops his hands momentarily and Poll takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Poll misses with a hook. Conroy ducked under it nicely.
Poll blocks a head kick by Conroy.

Conroy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fighters circling - Poll throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Conroy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd cheers as Poll lands an impressive looking overhand right. Conroy doesn't seem phased though.

Conroy has managed to clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Poll wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Conroy breaks the clinch.
Poll throws a leg kick but Conroy sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Bruce Conroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conroy avoids the head kick by Poll.

Conroy lands a big head kick that sends Poll tumbling to the mat! Conroy takes a step backwards and waves Poll back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Poll is rocked!

It looks like Owen Poll has been cut.
A head kick misses from Conroy.
Oh Poll is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Poll avoids the head kick by Conroy.
Conroy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Poll rushes Conroy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Conroy lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Poll is pressed against the cage. Conroy pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Poll! Two more big strikes from Conroy and Poll crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
