Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Castle!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castle tries to keep at a distance but Anderson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Castle unloads a knee to the mid-section. Anderson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Castle gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
A nice left hand lands by Anderson.
Castle misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Anderson stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Castle throws a punch but it's blocked by Anderson.
Castle tries to land knees in the clinch but Anderson avoids the damage to the body.

Castle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Castle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Castle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Castle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Castle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Castle needs to keep his hands up - Anderson had a free shot at his head there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Castle ducks right into an uppercut from Anderson.

Anderson jerks Castle's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Castle drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Anderson goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Anderson because Castle was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Sam Anderson!
Our winner, Sam Anderson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
