Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Dzagoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maunu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua throws out a loose jab but Dzagoev uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dzagoev avoids the body shot from Tua.
Tua scores with a crisp jab that stopped Dzagoev in his tracks.

Tua throws a shot from downtown. Dzagoev moves away and avoids it.
Tua avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
No joy there for Tua, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dzagoev is stalling here. Tua is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dzagoev seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Tua has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Tua creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dzagoev sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Tua lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A nice left hand lands by Tua.
Tua lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Dzagoev backwards.
Tua misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Tua lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Dzagoev misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tua.
Oh Dzagoev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The referee calls for Tua to work.
Tua creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Dzagoev with a big uppercut! Dzagoev tries to clinch up but Tua pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Dzagoev to the mat! Dzagoev covers up and Tua unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
