These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justice scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Justice digs a good hook to Machida's body.
Machida looks for the body kick but Justice saw that one coming.

Machida throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Justice stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Justice takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Machida. Justice shrugs it off though.
Justice needs to keep his hands up - Machida had a free shot at his head there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Machida.
Machida feints with a jab and clips Justice right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Justice is sent crashing into the canvas and Machida leaps in for the kill! Justice tries to get to his feet but Machida is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Justice is in need of a savior and steps in!
