Christ has chosen Stephen Lynch - Craig as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Milat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Craig Christ!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milat throws a sloppy head kick and Christ moves out of range easily.
Milat throws a combination that misses
and Christ counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Milat shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Christ eats them both and turns towards Milat to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Christ showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Milat.
Milat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Christ moves away.
An inside leg kick from Milat misses.

Christ feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Christ wants to control from the top but Milat keeps moving.
Christ loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Milat keeping moving, preventing Christ from controlling successfully.
Christ throwing strikes from guard but Milat blocks nicely.

Christ trying to control the position from guard on top but Milat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Christ wants to pass the guard but Milat is keeping the position.
Christ throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Milat works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Milat wants to get back to his feet but Christ is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Christ wants to control from the top but Milat keeps moving.
Milat not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Christ misses with a low kick as Milat jumps back.
Christ cracks Milat with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Milat misses with a head kick.
Milat fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Christ checks it well.
Milat falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Milat takes a swing at Christ's ribcage but misses.
Milat avoids the body shot from Christ.

Christ has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Christ there as he acknowledges the shot.
Milat tries to clinch up.
Christ throws the kick towards the body but Milat avoids it.
Ivan Milat is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Christ takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Christ lands a lovely overhand right.
Christ swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Milat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Christ scores with a one two! Milat had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Milat scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A low kick from Christ misses
and Milat counters with a three punch combo that has Christ backing up. Christ nods at Milat to acknowledge the strikes.
Milat lands a head kick. Christ smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


Christ is rocked!
Christ gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Milat gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Christ is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Milat!
