Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pete Doherty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doherty's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You can't stand me now. Sosa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: HELLUVA LIFE. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sosa.

Doherty throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Doherty chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Sosa misses with a shot to the body
and Sosa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Doherty connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Doherty connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sosa momentarily.
Doherty connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Doherty connects with a crisp jab.

Doherty just misses with a punch to the body.
Sosa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sosa thows a body shot but no joy.
The fighters circle, before Doherty throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Sosa's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Doherty lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Pete Doherty spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
