The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herald waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pelle.

Herald motions for Pelle to come forward. Herald throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Pelle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Herald fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pelle manages to avoid it.

Herald connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Herald swings for the body but Pelle moves out of range.

and Pelle counters with a series of strikes. Herald will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Herald throws a hook but Pelle blocks it.

Herald throws a nice looking combination but Pelle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Herald drops Pelle with a beautiful combination! Pelle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Herald is looking for the KO!
Pelle is rocked!
It looks like Rinta Pelle has been cut.
Herald darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Pelle's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Herald before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Justin Herald!
After the fight, Justin Herald was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
