PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iso Fedex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jima Jamm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedex doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jamm counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fedex looks for a takedown but Jamm sprawls well.
A nice combination there by Jamm.

It looks like Iso Fedex has been cut.
Jamm lands an overhand right.

Jamm has managed to clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fedex accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fedex has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fedex throws a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fedex wants to control from the top but Jamm keeps moving.

Jamm has his foot on Fedex's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fedex works his way back into a safe position though.
Jamm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fedex. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fedexis looking to pass into half guard but Jamm pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jamm is in guard.

Fedex wants to sweep here but Jamm controlling him for the moment.

Fedex thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Fedex is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fedex throws a strike aimed at the side of Jamm's head but Jamm avoids it well.
Jamm is trying to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Iso Fedex will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Jamm throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fedex.
Jamm tries to clinch up.
Jamm moves in looking to clinch but Fedex pushes him off.
Jamm lands with a hook. Fedex tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Donk. Jamm catches Fedex right on the button with a cross.

Fedex sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jamm connects with a leg kick. Fedex looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Jamm lands a nice looking kick to the body. Fedex takes a step back to recover.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jamm breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jima Jamm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jamm lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Fedex can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Jamm and Fedex drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Jamm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jima Jamm!
A relieved looking Jima Jamm thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
