Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vyacheslav Kalashnikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikko Ralcha!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ralcha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Good leg kick by Kalashnikov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kalashnikov rushes Ralcha and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kalashnikov throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kalashnikov misses with a knee to the head.
Kalashnikov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ralcha has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kalashnikov throws a punch but it's blocked by Ralcha.
Kalashnikov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ralcha takes a knee right on the jaw!
Ralcha takes an elbow to the temple.
Ralcha is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kalashnikov prevents Ralcha from breaking the clinch.
Kalashnikov can't find room to land a body shot as Ralcha controls the action.
Ralcha on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kalashnikov struggles to land a body shot inside as Ralcha controls his hands.
Kalashnikov lands with a right to the head.
Kalashnikov misses with a knee to the head.
Kalashnikov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ralcha has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ralcha on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kalashnikov prevents Ralcha from breaking the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Ralcha's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kalashnikov is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ralcha is defending well for now.
Kalashnikov presses Ralcha against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Kalashnikov stalling in the clinch.
Ralcha avoiding damage as Kalashnikov throws knees to the body.
Ralcha is trying to force a seperation but Kalashnikov has the dominant position.
Ralcha has had enough of the clinch but Kalashnikov keeps him there for the moment.

Ralcha breaks from the clinch.
Ralcha throws a sloppy head kick and Kalashnikov moves out of range easily.
Ralcha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kalashnikov throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ralcha looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kalashnikov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ralcha has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kalashnikov. That's going to slow Ralcha down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kalashnikov.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kalashnikov lands a jab to the head.
Kalashnikov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kalashnikov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ralcha moves out of range of the body kick.
Vyacheslav Kalashnikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ralcha crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kalashnikov - the referee stops the clock and Ralcha gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kalashnikov. Ralcha manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ralcha on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov obviously looking to wear him down.
Kalashnikov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kalashnikov digs a good body shot into Ralcha's ribs.
Kalashnikov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kalashnikov cracks the inside of Ralcha's front leg.
Kalashnikov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kalashnikov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kalashnikov. That's going to slow Ralcha down.
Kalashnikov connects with a solid leg kick.
Kalashnikov feints and then cracks Ralcha's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ralcha down.
Kalashnikov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kalashnikov drops Ralcha with a naaaaasty hook - Ralcha is in real trouble here! Kalashnikov dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vyacheslav Kalashnikov!
