Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricco El Suave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves comes to the cage accompanied by Guerreiro by Curumin. Ricco El Suave acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Suave throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alves.
El Suave scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
El Suave ducks under a wild hook from Alves.
Alves looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Alves lands a jab to the nose.

Alves closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Alves is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. El Suave knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Alves cracks El Suave with a big right hand but El Suave just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
El Suave really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The strikes coming from Alves are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alves tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alves has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Alves is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt El Suave will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Alves throws a strike aimed at the side of El Suave's head but El Suave avoids it well.

Alves moves into full mount!
Alves lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alves avoids the attempt from El Suave to control.
Alves goes for an armbar but he's not got it… El Suave turns into him and now he's in Alves's guard.
Alves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but El Suave can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alves bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in El Suave's guard.
Alves stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. El Suave swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

El Suave fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alves manages to avoid it.

El Suave stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

A nice right hand lands inside from Alves.

El Suave's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Alves turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Guilherme Alves overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Alves tries to advance to mount but El Suave denies him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Alves wants to finish this one by submission but El Suave is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Alves.
Alves moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, El Suave has worked his arm free - good work by El Suave!
Alves wants to lay and pray for a moment but El Suave keeps working.

Alves has hold of El Suave's arm. He's looking for a kimura. El Suave seems comfortable defending it but Alves has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! El Suave is real pain and he's forced to tap out! El Suave is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Alves couldn't care less - he's delighted!
