Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boo Estep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Blankenship (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blankenship has chosen Crazy Train as his entrance music. Shane Blankenship has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boo Estep!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Blankenship!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estep shoots in looking for a takedown but Blankenship manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Estep's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Estep tries to clinch but Blankenship is having none of it.
Blankenship bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Estep's head.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blankenship lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Estep has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Estep and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
A head kick misses from Blankenship.

Estep moves into the clinch.

Blankenship pulls guard effortlessly.
Estep trying to control but Blankenship is working from the bottom.

Estep drops back looking for a leg! Blankenship is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blankenship manages to kick Estep off! Estep jumps back into Blankenship's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Estep scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Blankenship controls Estep momentarily but Estep frees himself.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Estep is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Estep postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Estep is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Estep is stalling in the full guard.
Blankenship pulls Estep in close to prevent any damage.

Blankenship is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Estep has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Estep is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Blankenship working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Estep doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Estep manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
