The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahriman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Conner throws a shot from downtown. Ahriman moves away and avoids it.
Conner connects with a body shot.
A slow jab from Conner misses its intended target.
Ahriman takes one on the button.
Ahriman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Conner can pounce on him.
Ahriman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ahriman is breathing heavily.
Conner is looking to slow Ahriman down with leg kicks.
Conner lands a nice hook to Ahriman's body. Ahriman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Conner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Conner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Conner fails with an attempt to clinch.
Conner lands with a cross.
Ahriman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ahriman takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Magnus Ahriman has been cut.
Conner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ahriman gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Conner.
Conner throws a leg kick which misses Ahriman's front leg but catches the back leg as Ahriman tries to avoid it.
Conner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That kick from Conner tenderised Ahriman's leg. Ahriman is trying to keep his angry face on.
Conner throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A swing and a miss from Ahriman.
Conner connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Ahriman is rocked!
A looping hook to the body misses from Conner. Ahriman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Oh Ahriman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Conner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ahriman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Conner lands a really nice looking cross but Ahriman seems unphased.
Conner with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Conner throws an overhand right that has Ahriman reeling! Conner follows up with more punches and Ahriman is out cold! This one is all over!
