The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oden paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Oden misses with a head kick.
A punch combination from Oden misses.
Blake is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Blake has managed to clinch.
Blake leaning against his opponent.
Blake stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Blake lands an uppercut.
Blake prevents a body shot from Oden.
Oden throws an elbow that misses.
Oden tries to break the clinch but Blake is controlling the position.

Oden pushes off an throws an elbow but Blake leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Blake - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Still in the clinch, Blake scores with a nice short uppercut.
Oden has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Blake lands a right hand that snaps the head of Oden backwards.

Oden wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Blake lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Oden or not.
Oden is breathing heavily.
Blake lands a left hand that snaps the head of Oden backwards.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Blake as Oden tries to tie him up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blake lands a shot to the body.

Blake drops Oden onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Oden is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
