The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping throws a leg kick but Joe checks it.
Bisping tries to clinch but Joe moves away

and Joe counters by moving into the clinch.

Joe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Joe moves out of range as Bisping throws a body kick.
Joe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bisping.
Bisping connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Joe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bisping, pushing him back against the cage.
Bisping throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Joe blocks it with crossed arms.
Joe lands a body shot in the clinch.
Bisping is trying to break the clinch but Joe has him pressed against the cage.
Bisping with a knee to the head.

Joe has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bisping regains guard immediately.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joe gets to his feet - Bisping follows without any prompting.

Joe lands a left and a right that send Bisping crashing to the mat, dazed. Joe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Michael Bisping has been cut.
Joe scoring well with a low kick there.
Bisping is breathing heavily.

Joe drives through with a powerful takedown. That's hurt Bisping!

Bisping is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Bisping's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
