The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clavet moves to clinch but Rollins breaks away
and Rollins makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Clavet looks to throw the jab but Rollins is out of range.
Rollins scores with a kick to the body.
Clavet changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rollins tries to avoid it but Clavet manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rollins to the ground. Rollins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Clavet clinches up with Rollins and pushes him back against the cage.
Rollins misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rollins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rollins can't find room to land a body shot as Clavet controls the action.

Rollins turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Horrible takedown by Clavet or perhaps it was just good defense by Rollins which made him look bad.

Rollins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Clavet changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rollins tries to avoid it but Clavet manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rollins to the ground. Rollins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Clavet will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
