Dredd has chosen Static X = Push it as his entrance music. Jake Dredd is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dredd as he avoids it easily.

Dredd fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henry sprawls well initially but Dredd persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dredd throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Dredd content to control rather than advance.
Henry on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Henry tries to get out of the position.

Dredd looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
