Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanadi De Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Palahnuik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palahnuik is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Machine Civilization. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Santana misses with a straight right.
De Santana keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
De Santana misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
De Santana fails with an attempt to clinch.
Palahnuik cracks De Santana with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A decent looking body kick lands there for De Santana.
De Santana throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Palahnuik thuds his right hand into De Santana's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
De Santana connects with an inside leg kick.
Palahnuik tries to keep at a distance but De Santana has taken the fight into the clinch.

and Palahnuik counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Palahnuik rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but De Santana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

De Santana looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Palahnuik lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De Santana throws a chopping leg kick but Palahnuik manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
De Santana throws a shot from downtown. Palahnuik moves away and avoids it.
Palahnuik misses the shot to the body.
Palahnuik misses with a wild body shot.
Palahnuik circles away from the clinch attempt.
De Santana moves in looking to clinch but Palahnuik pushes him off.

Palahnuik gets cracked there but stands up to it.
De Santana throws a leg kick but Palahnuik sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Palahnuik feints and then cracks De Santana's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow De Santana down.

De Santana fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
De Santana tries to work over Palahnuik's front leg with a kick but Palahnuik checks it.
Palahnuik drops De Santana with a left right combo! Palahnuik follows him down to the ground into side control.
De Santana is rocked!
De Santana is breathing heavily.
De Santana manages to work his way to half guard, despite Palahnuik's best efforts.
Oh De Santana is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

De Santana is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palahnuik sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Santana knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Palahnuik on the ground.

De Santana is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
De Santana seems to have got his legs back now.
Palahnuik fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Palahnuik looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has De Santana covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
