Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Prototype (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thracian Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thracian Spartacus is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prototype tries to clinch up but Spartacus circles away and keeps his distance.
Spartacus shoots in and drives through. Prototype sprawls well.
Spartacus fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Prototype closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Spartacus did well to prevent Prototype getting side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Prototype lands strikes from half guard.
Prototype is looking to take a break and control but Spartacus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Prototype seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Prototype throwing shots but Spartacus is blocking nicely.

Prototype wants to work for an arm triangle but Spartacus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Spartacus is trying to stand up here but Prototype is controlling him well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spartacus can do anything to dispel that myth.
Prototype trying to control but Spartacus is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prototype is fighting to break Spartacus's control of his arms but Spartacus is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Spartacus will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Prototype is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Spartacus is just riding it out for now. Prototype eventually gives up the hold.
Spartacus strikes from the bottom but Prototype passes into mount!
Spartacus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prototype. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Spartacus tries to lock up and control but Prototype gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Spartacus tries to improve his position but Prototype has taken his back! Prototype has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Spartacus tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Prototype pushes Spartacus away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
