Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rakharo Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanden Plas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Monster. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ko blocks a leg kick.

and Ko counters by moving into the clinch.

Plas is looking to control Ko's arms but Ko gets an underhook and turns him. Now Plas has his back to the ropes.
Plas takes a knee to the side of the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ko is struggling to control the position.

Plas breaks the clinch.
Plas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ko has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Plas scoring well with a low kick there.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Plas.

Plas closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Ko crashing to the mat! Ko uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Plas sizes up Ko with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Ko is rocked!
Ko glances at the clock... BAM! Plas nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Ko crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Ko is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
