Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arudou shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rivera pinned against the cage. Rivera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rivera tries for a takedown but Arudou sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Arudou.
Arudou tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rivera swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Debito Arudou. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rivera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rivera shoots in looking for a takedown but Arudou manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rivera's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Arudou working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rivera's head.

Arudou with a flurry of punches that miss.
Arudou postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Arudou connects with a couple of short punches.

Arudou throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Arudou lands a couple of elbows.
Arudou looking to sit in guard and control but Rivera gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Arudou has his feet on Rivera's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Rivera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arudou but Arudou pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Arudou changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rivera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
