The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stram will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Miles stuffs the takedown.

Miles drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Stram tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miles wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Miles is trying to get an arm triangle but Stram is defending well.

Stram takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Miles is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stram has escaped the position, nice work there.

Stram tries to bench press Miles off him but Miles keeps the position.

Stram wants to control but Miles postures up.
Stram manages to get back to half guard.

Miles takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Miles working over Stram with some ground and pound. Stram looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
