The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conner throws a wild body kick that Morris sees coming a mile off.
Conner tries a head kick but it misses.
Morris closes the distance and clinches.
Morris is looking to take this one to the mat.
Conner is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Morris pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Morris lands a takedown into guard.
Morris showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Morris trying to control but Conner is working from the bottom.
Conner wants to stand and escape but Morris is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chris Morris.
Conner lands a big head kick that sends Morris tumbling to the mat! Conner takes a step backwards and waves Morris back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Chris Morris has been cut.
