Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Delphine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawson Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delphine comes into the arena with Cowboys From Hell blaring out of the sound system. Danny Delphine has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Delphine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lawson Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp misses with a few strikes there.
Sharp slaps away a takedown attempt from Delphine, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Delphine rushes Sharp and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sharp tries a body shot but Delphine blocks it.
Sharp stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Delphine tries for a takedown. No joy.
Delphine prevents Sharp from breaking the clinch.

Delphine wants the takedown. Sharp is fighting it off but Delphine persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sharp's guard against the cage.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Delphine stops Sharp from standing up.
Delphine postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Delphine postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Sharp wants to get back to his feet but Delphine is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Delphine pushes down on Sharp's leg and manages to get into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Delphine throwing shots but Sharp is blocking nicely.

Sharp looks like he's trying to stand up.

Sharp won't allow Delphine to pass to mount.
Delphine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sharp tries to kick Delphine off but Delphine keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Delphine passes the guard and advances to mount!
You get the feeling that Sharp really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Delphine lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sharp is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delphine cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sharp squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Sharp wants to get back to his feet.
Sharp is still in real trouble! Can Delphine finish him?

Delphine loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sharp scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Delphine land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Delphine stands and salutes the crowd.
