Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Staal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, No more Shadows for the Past- NARNIA. On his way into the cage it seems that Renzo Machida has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Renzo Machida seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Machida misses.
Machida takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Machida cracks Staal with an uppercut from hell and Staal crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Machida's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Still in half guard, Machida seems content to control.
Machida winds up and cracks Staal with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
