The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salcedo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kaioh.
Kaioh connects with an inside leg kick.
Kaioh lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Salcedo blocks a head kick by Kaioh.
Salcedo throws an overhand right that lands on Kaioh's shoulder, as Kaioh tries to avoid the shot.
Kaioh wants to clinch.
Salcedo takes a swing at Kaioh's ribcage but misses.
Salcedo on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kaioh throws a quick inside leg kick.

Retsu Kaioh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kaioh.
Kaioh throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Salcedo swats away the attempt to clinch by Kaioh.

Salcedo tries to keep at a distance but Kaioh has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kaioh lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Salcedo tries to work over Kaioh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Salcedo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kaioh is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
