The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov avoids the head kick by Suraski.
Suraski misses with a two punch combination.

Suraski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Suraski seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Ivanov postures up.

Suraski connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Ivanov! He's out on his feet! Suraski rushes in and drops Ivanov with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
