Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Lexus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Poulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lexus closes the distance looking to clinch
and Poulter counters with a nice body kick.
Lexus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lexus misses with a lunging right hand
and Poulter counters with a good, hard body kick but Lexus shrugs it off.
Poulter lands with a thumping leg kick.
Poulter throws a body kick that misses.
Poulter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lexus is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lexus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Poulter avoids it really well and circles away.

Poulter gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Poulter is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lexus is defending well for now.

Lexus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Poulter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lexus swings wildly with an uppercut but Poulter uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lexus changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Poulter fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Lexus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Poulter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lexus goes for a takedown attempt but Poulter pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Lexus moves in looking to clinch but Poulter pushes him off.

Poulter fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Poulter connects with a solid leg kick.
Poulter throws a shot to the body.
Poulter lands a jab to Lexus's midsection.
Poulter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Bobby Lexus's cut is getting worse.
Poulter throws a head kick that Lexus semi-blocks.

Bobby Lexus's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Poulter thumps Lexus with a low kick.
Poulter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lexus on the side of the head.
Lexus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Poulter defends it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Poulter throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Poulter dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bobby Lexus's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Good leg kick by Poulter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lexus tries to clinch up
and Poulter counters with a nice body kick.
Poulter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Poulter throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lexus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Poulter - the referee stops the clock and Lexus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Poulter. Lexus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Poulter. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Nice body kick there by Poulter.
Paul Poulter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lexus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Poulter pinned against the cage. Poulter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Poulter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lexus.
Poulter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lexus. Lexus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Poulter rushes Lexus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lexus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Poulter gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lexus steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Poulter. That one must have hurt.
Lexus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Poulter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lexus at a distance.
Poulter's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lexus under the eye.
Lexus takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A chopping leg kick lands by Poulter.
Poulter feints and then cracks Lexus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lexus down.
Poulter misses with a head kick.
Poulter is looking to slow Lexus down with leg kicks.
Lexus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lexus will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bobby Lexus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
