Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ming Xin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Torturo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xin comes to the cage accompanied by Jiào tiānxià 教天下. Torturo has chosen Mogwai - Katrien as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marko Torturo!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xin misses with a double jab.
Xin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Torturo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Torturo wants to clinch.
Xin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Xin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Xin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Torturo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Xin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Torturo turns into him and now he's in Xin's guard.

Xin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Torturo manages to get himself to full guard.

Torturo feints and then cracks Xin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Xin down.

Torturo throws a nice looking combination but Xin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Marko Torturo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Torturo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Xin connects with a good right hand that stumbles Torturo. Torturo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Torturo throws a leg kick but Xin sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Xin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Torturo leaves Xin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ming Xin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A right-left combo lands from Torturo.
Torturo's corner calls for a 1-2. Torturo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Xin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Torturo.

Marko Torturo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Marko Torturo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

After the fight, Marko Torturo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
