Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kangas Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shakir Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Khan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Try and Catch Me. Nelson has chosen Erase Me, Kid Cudi as his entrance music. Shakir Nelson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kangas Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shakir Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Shakir Nelson has been cut.
Khan misses with a hook
and Nelson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Khan is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Khan drops Nelson with a beautiful combination! Nelson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Khan is looking for the KO!
Nelson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Khan misses with a two punch combination.
Nelson is still on wobbly legs! Can Khan finish him?
Nelson gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Khan points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Nelson wakes up just in time to hear Khan thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kangas Khan!
