Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Lind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lind comes into the arena with Ice Cube & Dr Dre - Natural Born Killaz blaring out of the sound system. Corbett comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ... kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Corbett!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corbett lands a jab to the head.
Corbett fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A swing and a miss from Lind.
Corbett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lind moves away.

Lind gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Corbett is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lind pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Corbett has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lind is trying to keep an underhook but Corbett manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Corbett wants to pass to mount but Lind is defending the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Corbett swats away the attempt to clinch by Lind.
Quinton Lind seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Corbett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lind sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Corbett walks into a straight right hand from Lind.
Lind lands with a thumping leg kick.

Lind tries to work over Corbett's front leg with a kick but Corbett checks it.

Corbett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lind throws a sloppy head kick and Corbett moves out of range easily.
Corbett lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Corbett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Corbett blocks a jab.
Lind goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lind bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Corbett's head backwards.
Corbett lands a slapping body shot.
Corbett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lind sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lind is looking to clinch but Corbett is avoiding it.
Lind misses with a wild body shot.
Corbett throws an overhand right that lands on Lind's shoulder, as Lind tries to avoid the shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Quinton Lind will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lind's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Corbett loads up on a big right hand but Lind slips the punch.

Corbett bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Corbett waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lind.
Corbett misses with a left hand
and Lind counters with an inside leg kick.

Corbett shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Corbett showed some decent athleticism there.

Corbett takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Corbett moves nicely into side control.
Lind managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Corbett.

Nathan Corbett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lind is staying active underneath Corbett, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lind is bucking up trying to escape but Corbett cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Lind wants to control but Corbett is having none of it.

Nathan Corbett comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Corbett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
