Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Materazzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Castle cracks the inside of Materazzi's front leg.
Castle jabs Materazzi to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Castle.
Castle throws a leg kick which misses Materazzi's front leg but catches the back leg as Materazzi tries to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Castle lands a nice hook to Materazzi's body. Materazzi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A chopping leg kick lands by Castle.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Materazzi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Castle - the referee stops the clock and Materazzi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Castle. Materazzi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Materazzi in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Marco Materazzi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Castle shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Materazzi eats them both and turns towards Castle to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Good leg kick by Castle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
