Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Prototype (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCoy has chosen Voices as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Austin McCoy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick Prototype!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Austin McCoy!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prototype tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McCoy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McCoy tries to sprawl but Prototype drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Nice strikes from Prototype there.
Prototype thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McCoy's head.
Prototype controlling the action here.
Prototype throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Still in half guard, Prototype seems content to control.
Prototype trying to control from half guard but McCoy is working away.
Prototype decides to return to a standing position.

McCoy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Prototype's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
McCoy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Prototype is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McCoy decides to stand back up.

Prototype tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Prototype changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McCoy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Prototype is looking to take a break and control but McCoy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McCoy manages to get back to half guard.
McCoy is looking to escape.
Prototype is working for a submission of some sort.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Prototype is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McCoy has managed to free his arm - good work.
Prototype looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McCoy is defending against the submission attempts here by Prototype.

McCoy tries to get to full guard but Prototype has control of the leg.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McCoy is refusing to be controlled, as Prototype sits in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
McCoy clinches up against the cage.
Prototype lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Prototype throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing McCoy to regain full guard.
Prototype trying to control but McCoy is working from the bottom.
Prototype wants to stand but McCoy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
McCoy looking for a triangle here. Prototype is fighting it but it looks tight! McCoy pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Prototype is tapping out - this one is all over!
