PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raive Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malapitan shoots in but Bauer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bauer thuds his right hand into Malapitan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Bauer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Malapitan misses with a takedown attempt - Bauer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bauer can do anything to dispel that myth.

Malapitan is landing with some decent strikes but Bauer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Raive Malapitan will probably get the nod.

Malapitan closes the distance and clinches up with Bauer, looking for a takedown. Malapitan pushes Bauer against the cage but Bauer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Chuck Bauer spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
