Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Braylon Beswicke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgio Jacques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Beswicke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kick in the teeth. Jacques comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Motörhead - Ace of Spades kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giorgio Jacques!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beswicke tries a low kick but Jacques avoids it.
Jacques will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jacques looks for a takedown but Beswicke sprawls well.
Jacques takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jacques cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Poor strikes thrown by Jacques there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Braylon Beswicke.
