Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dru Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temugin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Khan's choice of entrance music: War Dogs. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Rivers blocks the leg kick.
Khan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Rivers lands with a thumping leg kick.
Khan stuns Rivers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A low kick from Rivers misses
and Khan counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rivers's knee momentarily.
Khan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Khan throws out a leg kick but Rivers moves out of range and Khan only half commits.
Rivers throws a low kick but it's checked well by Khan.
Khan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rivers. Rivers circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Khan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Khan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Khan moves out of range of the body kick from Rivers.

Rivers misses with a low kick as Khan jumps back.
Khan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Temugin Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khan scores with a jab. Rivers acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rivers throws a low kick but Khan avoids it.

Rivers is breathing heavily.
Rivers has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rivers there as he acknowledges the shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Rivers counters with a stiff right hand.
Khan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Rivers counters with a nice kick to the body.
Rivers throws a leg kick but Khan moved away.

Khan scores with a kick to the midsection.
Khan connects with a leg kick. Rivers looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Rivers takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rivers takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Dru Rivers has been cut.
Khan lands with a right hand.
Khan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rivers chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Khan can pounce on him.
Rivers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Khan.
Khan lands with a good body shot.
Jab, jab by Khan - just one landing.
A jab from Khan does it's job there.
Rivers on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Khan thows a body kick. Rivers tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice jab there from Khan.

Khan moves into the clinch successfully.
Khan lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Khan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Khan throws a punch but it's blocked by Rivers.
Rivers misses with a shot to the kidneys.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Khan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Khan.
Khan works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Rivers is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Rivers tries a body shot but Khan blocks it.

Rivers can't find room to land a body shot as Khan controls the action.
Rivers's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Oh Rivers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khan lands a hook that snaps the head of Rivers backwards.
Rivers goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Khan lands an uppercut.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Khan.
Khan lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Rivers to his knees! Khan keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temugin Khan!
An intense looking Temugin Khan took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'You would dare come at me with your primitive skills?!? Let this be a warning to all others that they shall pay for such insolence. I am the PUREEVIL here...I AM KHAN!!!'.
