The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reardon blocks a head kick by Drogo.
Reardon looks to land a left hand but Drogo moved out of range nicely.
Reardon shoots for a double leg takedown but Drogo sprawls well. He's pushed Reardon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Reardon is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Reardon dives in and grabs Drogo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Drogo pushes down on Reardon's head and hops out.

Drogo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reardon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Reardon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Drogo's guard.
Reardon is trying to control the action in half guard but Drogo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Drogo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reardon is working away from the top position though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reardon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Drogo - the referee stops the clock and Reardon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Drogo. Reardon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
